Many divers find wreck diving a fascinating way to study history underwater.
In the course students will be taught to survey shipwreck sites, identify hazards, research wreck history,
and conduct limited wreck penetration. The course consists of one evening of classroom theory and four
wreck dives conducted over two days. With over 2000 shipwrecks in Nova Scotia this course should be
considered a must have for local divers.
Requirements:
Prerequisite: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Minimum Age: 15
Equipment: Students must provide all standard scuba equipment including a wreck reel and light. Pony bottles are also recommended.
