The SeaWolves Dive Club (established in 1997) caters to divers of all levels and abilities, and helps to promote recreational diving within Nova Scotia. Our dive season begins in April (many wet suit divers begin in May), and continues until the last week in October. We attempt three dives a week in peak season; a Wednesday night dive, and two weekend dives (one shore dive, one charter). A scheduled dive may or may not occur, due to lack of interest or weather. So please call Torpedo Rays in advance to confirm attendance for a dive.

The Club has special events planned through out the year, most of which fall in our posted dive season. This years events include; 3 camping /diving trips (space limited), 2 shark dives (yes sharks), a dive and barbeque, photo contest, as well as the successful Christmas Tree dive. We also participate in Torpedo Rays organized events such as the annual Halloween pumpkin dive.

Wednesday Night Dives

To safely participate in our Wednesday night dives, divers will soon require a flashlight. Torpedo Rays has offered to rent out flashlights in their full rental purchase for an additional $5.00. So if you feel you need a flashlight, full rentals are $35.00 for Wednesday night dives. To rent one from the shop the cost is $10.00 (if you have all or most of your gear). Night dives are a great way to see, old dive sites in a new light.

Announcements

July 26, 07 - The Lodge Closed to Divers - Due to some careless divers (hopefully not from this club) it seems that The Lodge is now unavailable as a dive spot. The owners of the land, have grown tired of finding garbage, and human waste on their property. Please when visiting dive locations (on private AND public land), take precautions to leave the site as clean, if not cleaner then you found it. The last thing the diving community needs is loosing more dive locations. The SeaWolves dive schedule has been modified, with the removal of this location.

July 30, 07 - Get your Photos in! - Little over 30 days left to get your photos in to win prizes in our Photo Contest. Remember as long as its diving related (underwater or on shore), and your a payed member you can win great prizes, all for Five Dollars!

July 30, 07 - Upcoming events - In the near future we will be having a skills dive. Forget how to remove your weight belt at the surface? Does regulator recovery excite you? Need to go over how to use a compass? Then come on out. Its your chance to practice a few skills that have gone rusty. This idea was mentioned to the club by a member. If you have any ideas for a club activity, or would like to organize one, please email: seawolvesdiving@hotmail.com.
